VKSSF currently offers Bachelor Degree Scholarships for students with Konkani language as their mother tongue, who have completed their HSC and are pursuing degree education in any branch of Engineering or Medical streams may apply for this Scholarship Programme.
Applications are open from June 10th to July 10th every year
Entry Level
Only students who are seeking admission to the First year of the respective courses may apply.
Minimum Marks
70% in core subjects and Entrance Rank within 20,000. (For Lateral Entry the Entrance Rank should be within 3000)
Income Limit
The Family Income of the candidate should not exceed Rs. 4.5 Lakhs per annum
Master Degree Program
VKSSF offers Scholarships for Master Degree. The rate of scholarship varies from discipline to discipline. Students with Konkani language as their mother tongue, who have completed their Bachelor Degree course and pursuing Master Degree education in any course can apply for this Scholarship Programme.

Monthly gross salary of Rs. 27,000/- pm
For M.Phil. /Ph.D. candidates the salary will be marginally higher than Rs. 27000 /- pm and will be determined during the selection process
Your 1st year at the Foundation
The purpose of Associate Programme is to help you to develop yourself to become Teacher Educators. The one-year programme will broadly consist of two components:
1. Teaching in a Govt. school (80% time)
Experiencing the work and realities of a teacher is fundamental to being able to help a teacher build her capacities. Therefore, our programme will focus on giving you this experience.
This will require adequate preparation before you go to school, and significant support (from mentors and peers) through the months of teaching.
It will also need a process to distill your learning, about teaching-learning processes, about children, about teachers and the school, which you can carry forward in your role.
2. Supporting Teacher Professional Development programmes of DI (20% time)
As you becomes more familiar with the role of a teacher, you could begin learning on-the-job by apprenticing with some of our senior academic and block members, in conducting events such as a voluntary teacher forums or workshops.
After the completion of one year, you will continue to work at District Institutes and will continue to engage with the School and Community System.
